Human Factors, Flight Management, CRM, Flight Training, Keeping up one’s health, etc...
are well known to pilots.
Despite having diverse attitudes and different personalities, it goes without saying that flight crewmembers must work together and contribute their best efforts to reach common goals which are: safety, better standards and services.
Over the years the Lebanese Pilots have stood high in their contribution towards those goals and have achieved good safety records, some of us were pioneers in the aviation industry.
To that respect our pilots are enthusiastic and dedicated, Our Flight Instructors are capable and have continuous endeavour to refine their student’s knowledge and their flying skills.
The prevailing political situation in Lebanon has tremendous effect on the Lebanese Aviation industry and its growth;
From the early Fifties we have seen the rise of MEA and TMA; both Airlines were aviation leaders in their own fields of flying.
In the year 2004 we have seen the freeze of T.M.A. Flight Activities, one of the world’s leaders in Air Freight.
In recent years however, we have been witnessing the birth of few small air carriers who are trying to supplement the market needs;
Perhaps mismanagement and denied flexibility in local aviation market have lead to scores of aircraft parked on the ramps and valuable pilots sitting jobless and idle at home.
Tourism is an important economic contributor to the Lebanese Economy, It is imminent that peace and growth will eventually prevail in the country, surely aviation is a big necessity, and it remains the safest means of travel.
Looking into the future clearly indicates the need for an urgent change in the local aviation policies.
Globally, we see the Express Cargo, the Low Cost carriers and the Holiday Charter sectors have already shown that such change is possible and potentially profitable.
